Christmas Season & Meals in my Home-Merry Xmas Y'all!

Scrumptious Ayamase

This is a very spicy western Nigerian green stew. It is traditionally made with chopped unripe jalapeno and other green hot chilies like "esebo nwankpi, diced onions, desired cube bouillon, ground cray fish, bleached palm oil, and precooked assorted meat/fish. It is

traditionally  made with beef tripe, burnt cow skin, intestines to mention but a few. It is usually served over traditional Nigerian rice which is a dirty short grain rice. My choice today is Jasmine rice.

Beans & Plantain Porridge

Priscilla'a Authentic Nigerian Stew

Spiced Orange & Cranberry Pound Cake

It is Christmas morning, a season that my baking spirit comes to live. the smell of the season, cinnamon, pumpkin spice, apple cider, citrus to mention but a few. By 4 am, I got up and voila! this cake. My family woke up to it, and breakfast was served by 5:30 am. Perfect with black coffee. As you know, they all had it with carnation milk, tea and sugar and we all went back to bed. Merry Christmas!
